With a gifted voice, coupled with enormous knowledge of rare ragas and rare compositions of different composers, he has made it a point to render at least one such composition in his every single concert. He is greatly influenced by Ustad Dilshad Khan of Bombay and picked up the art of Khayal singing. He has given a few Hindusthani performances too. He is equipped with the knowledge of both the music systems and emerged as one of the very few jugalbhandhi vocalists.
